supervisor "highly recommends" that I should apply APA style in my dissertation. Googling the problem does not yield any solutions either! I was wondering if anyone else has faced the same problem, and is aware of a solution. I have even updated the MikTex 2.9 'cm' package, with no improvement in the situation.

The issue is that all the equations and math symbols in this pdf file vanishes in the dissertation, which makes it difficult to include this paper in the dissertation.
